Well, by a serious stroke of luck, I was in the right place at the right time. After enjoying a nice lunch at the Old Salt in Hampton, NH, we decided to watch a few minutes of the Santa parade in progress at the time. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, the Stanley Cup comes by on the back of a Hampton FD pickup truck. Couldn’t believe my eyes. Even better, the parade stopped for a few minutes as a band played a song allowing people to run out and get their pictures taken with the cup.
